DAS

DAS, or Diagnostic Assistance System,is the main software used for diagnosing pre-2013 cars. Each component of this software is explained here.

log.dll

Main logger DLL used by CAL, which in turn is used by DAS.

Writes its logs to LOGGERF.TXT.

cal_real.dll

Called by cal.dll (to toggle between simulator mode and real mode).

Main API to interact with the vehicle.

Logging

This DLL either logs with DLL_Log_Write, or using SendMessageA on windows with class "MfxTraceWindow" (like Trc2File.exe), and if no window is found, uses OutputDebugString.
