The SKREEM (Sentry Key Remote Entry Module) is the immobilizer module used in Mercedes cars. It authenticates keys using two-way communication and rolling codes.

Known issues

Effects happening when the SKREEM module is bad:

  • Alarm randomly triggers, with or without sound
  • Car shutting off (?)
  • Keys not being recognized anymore.
  • Car not starting

Coupe model
