The Alarm or Siren Module is a module in Chrysler Crossfires that makes sure you know something is up when either the following happens:
- The car is being towed or lifted and the tow button was not pressed beforehand to disable it.
- The car is locked/unlocked. This is only available using the A1718202526 module.
- The Varta batteries leaking and causing:
- the alarm to go off randomly
- cracking sound of alarm
- alarm going off without sound
- The tow-away OR central locking pump / security module is being drowned
Location
The alarm is located under the plastic cover that is underneath the wiper arms.
